Im doing an article in the newspaper about teenage relationships and whether or not they are a good thing to experience. Honestly, i think its great. You learn so many things about yourself, and other people. You learn how to open up, and let someone care for you. You learn that not all boys are liars, and not all girls are sluts. You find out what you prefer. Not too high maintenance, but not a tomboy. Not too thugged out, but not a total prep. Boy, girl, whatever it is that makes you happy.
Relationships were meant to be learning experiences. Before, you could've been this self-absorbed, money maker that cared for nothing except his rep and his paper, but as soon as you find that ride or die girl that will show you different things, you learn to soften up. You learn to love. If it ever gets to that point. But nonetheless, its a wonderful feeling. Or maybe you could be this boy-hopping princess that gets everything she wants. But one day, the boy that doesn't want to give you everything, finds you. He makes you want to quit your mackin ass ways, and makes you realize that you really can find everything you need in just one person.
You never know. One person can change your whole outlook on various things. It doesnt even have to be the person you're going to marry type of thing. I, myself have been in a few relationships. &i've learned something important from each and every one of them. One has taught me to not be so serious all the time, that i should embrace life as it comes and to loosen up when it comes to matters of the heart. Another has taught me that no matter how young you are, it is not impossible to experience love. But also that, where there is love, there is heartbreak. Relationships. They come, they go.
